I'm still there, and I still love it.
In the early 1980s, I spent a few months on the streets of Brighton's South End. I'm not sure if I remember much about it. It is a lovely, old, old village, with a small, mostly deserted, derelict factory. I remember that I had never seen it before. It is still there.
"Look what we did to the other man's house," says the factory's owner, a man in his 40s. I can't help but smile, as I look at the derelict building. "It was our first factory and it's on the same level as the one on the road."
I look at the factory. It is still there, but it's gone. I have no idea where it came from. It was, I think, the first time I'd ever seen it, and I can't believe I'm only a year old.
The factory is one of the last factories in the city where a man can buy a piece of land, build a house and start a business. It was built in the 1950s and early 1960s. It was a building, but it's still there.
The man who bought it, Mark Davis, is a man with a dark skin, who has been in business since he was 15. He lived in the building for about 18 years and had a strong interest in building houses and farming.
"I used to make a living off things like that," he says, "but then it was the business I did most of the day – to buy cars and to make ends meet.
"I was an industrialist for 30 years – I'd done some of the greatest jobs in the world. I started my career at a very small factory, in the town of Scowcroft. I thought there was no commercial reason for it, so I went back to the factory, bought a property there, sold it and then moved on.
"After this I worked hard to get a good house in the city, where I could buy my own family, and then I moved on to a very old building on the edge of the city. I remember looking at the derelict building and thinking: 'I've got to get out of here, I've got to get out of here.'"
The derelict building is still there. It was built in the 1950s and early 1960s and still has a name.
"I would say it's the last time I saw it, but I remember looking at it," says Mark.

"I'm not sure if I remember much about it," says Mark. "It was a big factory, and it's still there. It was built by a man who brought some of the best equipment from his factory. He called me 'Mark' and it was his last factory. He built all of his equipment from there."

So what do you do when you find out you've been out of town since you were 15?
Take a walk up a hill. I remember
